Buying
We acquire vintage works from painters and artists associated with Bruges, as well as paintings that depict the charming old city itself. Our primary focus is on pieces from the "School of Bruges" created between 1850 and 1980. Our collection is expanding rapidly, with the goal of making these beautiful works of art accessible to the public. We clean and restore the paintings in our collection with the assistance of local experts in restoration and framing. We strive to document the paintings and their artists as thoroughly as possible through research of archives and literature. Our goal is to share our collection with the public whenever we can.
