353. Medard Tytgat (1871-1948)
Brother of Edgard. Studied in Bruges and Brussels. This is an "allegory" representing Belgium in 1915.
321. Gustave Anthone (1897-1925)
He died at the age of 28 in 1925. An exhibition of 72 of his works followed. Paintings by him are rare. Gaston De Craeke and Leo Paret wrote in the catalogue.

Madonna and Child, large format, solid wood, impressive frame.
254. Fernand Bouton (1901-1973)
Oil painting - the Meebrug. Bouton is a Belgian painter who regularly came to paint in Bruges. The work dates from 1927.
393. Joseph Leegenhoek (1923-1985)
Corneel's brother. This is the Smedenpoort in 1925; before it was blown up by the Germans in 1944.
270. André Peere (1926-1995)

195. Aimé Van Belleghem (1922-1996)
He painted many portraits, but also quite a few surrealist settings. He was and is a very beloved artist from Bruges, and his works are known to many collectors.
267. Roger Gobron (1899-1985)
He made exclusively watercolors. A commemorative plaque hangs on his house at 30 Dweersstraat in Bruges. His wife Marie-Jo was a poet. The price is €180.
228. Charles Verbrugghe (1877-1974)
An oil painting by "the Parisian" - Ventimiglia in Italy.
219. Florimond Aerts (1877-1934)
He studied at the academies of Bruges and Brussels and also taught at the Bruges academy, including René De Pauw, José Storie, and Gustave Anthone. This sanguine dates from 1918.
28. Richard Leutenez (1884-1960)
The famous Meebrug, together with the Peerdebrug the oldest stone bridge in Bruges. Painted in 1930 from the Groene Rei. Price is €275.
371. Karel Rousseau (1886-1952)
"The Copper Polisher". The Rousseau family is an artistic family; his brother Henri and his cousin Geo are also well-known. He was an antique dealer, which is why the attributes in the painting are so detailed.
244. Louis Reckelbus (1864-1958)
Pastel - interior of his house (Westmeers 86) which he crammed with old artifacts. He was curator of the Bruges museums.
249. Unprecedented

258. Alfons Blomme (1889-1979)
Oil painting "A Farm" behind glass with a beautiful frame. In 1933, he met Albert Einstein and painted him. His style was called "Blomisme". The price is €200.
395. Leo Van der Smissen (1900-1966)
A large-format oil painting of De Dijver in winter.
261. Jules Fonteyne (1887-1964)
Etching - He was primarily a well-known etcher and he was also director of the academy after Flori Van Acker. He did not number or date his works. According to the family, the edition of this work was limited.
356. René De Pauw (1887-1946)
Born in Pittem. He also painted the interior of the Bruges station. Here he is standing in Heyst in 1938, offering New Year's greetings.
357. Geo Rousseau (1901-1942)
Guillaume. Son of Henri and nephew of Charles Rousseau. Died young. Original and beautiful frame.
152. RE Dupuis
A monumental and large work (oil painting) of the Groene Rei with the white pavilion. Large with an imposing frame. The price is €250.
310. Jozef Middeleer (1865-1939)
In 1904, he moved to Daverlostraat in Assebroek. He received the second prize in Rome in 1886.
398. Achiel Van Sassenbrouck (1886-1979)
Oil painting "Dame". No explanation needed :-)
173. Leo Mechelaere (1880-1964)
Mechelaere is very well known in Bruges. He also hangs in many Bruges living rooms.
413. Andrée Algrain (1905-1999)
Oil painting inspired by the work of her teacher and friend Armand Jamar, with whom she often spent time. Andrée is well known to the people of Bruges. She lived with her parents, who ran a garage on Nicolas Despar Street in Bruges.
271. Fernand Coevoet (1910-1992)
Oil paint / still life. He painted through his mouth after an illness at the age of nine. The price is €150.
294. Georges De Sloovere (1873-1970)
Georges was a fan of trees. He painted quite a few, but this one is very impressionistic. Cheerful and colorful to brighten up the room.
423. José Storie (1899-1961)
José was very well known for his portraits. He lived along the Steenhouwersdijk, where he had his studio and where he also gave lessons. After his death, it became a museum. His wife Suzanne was a well-known singer. This portrait is not Suzanne.
239. Jo Verhenneman (1918-1997)
Oil paint / still life. He was from Moen and settled in Bruges. The price is €150.
217. André Penninck (1924)
"The Debutants" - oil paint. He celebrated his 100th birthday last year. This is a large work.
143. Julien Schaeverbeke (1896-1984)
He was taught by Claude Monet and even had to burn some of his works. Julien was a very good Impressionist painter.
399. Charles Verbrugghe (1877-1974)
A street in Menton, France. Charles loved those exotic places with an arch in the street and the sun casting shadows. Beautiful work!
193. Walter Jonckheere (1924-1999)
A still life by Walter Jonckheere. An important painter of the last generation. We have other works by him for sale in the collection.
421. Lionel Poupaert (1900-1989)
Few dare to tackle a snow landscape, as it is not easy, but Lionel was not afraid of that. An eye-catcher on every wall.
196. Jef Van de Fackere (1879-1946)
He was an important teacher at the academy and a very fine painter. Nice frame and behind glass.
38. August Costenoble (1894-1976)
He lived on Moenstraat and made quite a few paintings, mainly views of Bruges. The price is €200.
203. Jules Danlos (1882-1955)
He was a Frenchman who came to live on Gistelsesteenweg and remained there until his death. He painted many still lifes, flowers, dahlias... A good painter.
86. Jozef Middeleer (1865-1939)
His works are rare but of high quality. This work has a monumental frame and is for sale for €375. He fetches high prices at auctions.
377. Charles Verbrugghe (1877-1974)
We have various small works in the collection on panel or canvas featuring lovely landscapes, but also vases with flowers in many colors that could not possibly have existed. Ask about them...
290. Gaston Oorlynck (1909-1989)
He received his training at the Bruges Art Academy and later became a teacher himself at the academy in Ostend. There is work by him in Mu.ZEE in Ostend. This is an oil painting of Den Dijver. The price is €175.
99. HV Wolvens (1896-1977)
His works are highly sought after. This fruit bowl is beautiful and yet also somewhat atypical for his work. Painted in 1944.
404. Rik Slabbinck (1914-1991)
Beautiful lithograph (46/50) of his well-known work. In the morning he went to his little table, placed some random objects on it and set to work. Many colors.
276. Guillaume Michiels (1909-1997)
A master of still lifes. This work draws attention and you never tire of looking at it.
402. Edouard Rombaux (1899-1987)
A little Bruges bridge by a non-Bruges native: the Peerdenbrug.
55. Marguerite Aers (1918-1995)

A large original poster (without frame) by Flori Van Acker of the vegetable market - Rozenhoedkaai. The work costs €125.
266. Marguerite Aers (1882-1972)
A sparsely painted corner in Bruges, overlooking the Sint-Salvator Cathedral. René Clarot often came to paint in Bruges.
355. Christien Fonteyne-Poupaert (1897-1968)
She is the daughter of Charles Poupaert. She painted mainly flower arrangements and still lifes – just like Charles, in pastel. She was taught by Jef Van de Fackere and Florimond Aerts.
334. Guillaume Michiels (1909-1979)
Made many etchings, also on the press of Jules Fonteyne. View of the Church of Our Lady - Bruges.
368. Corneel Leegenhoek (1903-1971)
This is his wife Marie-Henriette Mus, daughter of the sculptor Leon Mus. The painting was found in the attic. It dates from 1927 and is large in size.
315. Joseph Neutens (1874-1965)
Joseph was a member of various art circles (Kring46) and was also a member of the "Mafia" - a group of intellectuals around Achiel Van Acker.
