195. Aimé Van Belleghem (1922-1996)
He painted numerous portraits as well as many surrealist settings. He was and remains a much-loved artist from Bruges, and his works are known to numerous collectors.
267. Roger Gobron (1899-1985)
He painted exclusively watercolors. A commemorative plaque hangs on his house at Dweersstraat 30 in Bruges. His wife, Marie-Jo, was a poet. The price is €180.
228. Charles Verbrugghe (1877-1974)
An oil painting of "the Parisian" - Ventimiglia in Italy.
7. Flori Van Acker (1858-1940)
He was the director of the Bruges Art Academy and is considered the godfather of the Bruges School. This is the often-painted bridge at Lissewege, painted in 1928.
28. Richard Leutenez (1884-1960)
The often-painted Meebrug bridge. Painted in 1930 from the Groene Rei. Price: €260.
223. Julien Celos (1884-1953)
A work by the Antwerp painter who often stayed in Bruges. The Bruges Beguinage is in very good condition. The price is €100.
244. Louis Reckelbus (1864-1958)
Pastel - interior of his house (Westmeers 86), which he filled with old artifacts. He was curator of the Bruges museums.
249. Unknown
A fascinating, beautiful, and old work; very finely painted. Hand-drawn, but unique. It looks great on any wall. The price is €100.
258. Alfons Blomme (1889-1979)
Oil painting "A Farmhouse" behind glass in a beautiful frame. In 1933, he met and painted Albert Einstein. His style was called "Blomism." The price is €230.
174. Achille Van Sassenbrouck (1886-1979)
Oil painting - "Environs of Hamme." He moved to Hamme later in life and also lived alternately on his houseboat.
261. Jules Fonteyne (1887-1964)
Etching - He was primarily a well-known etcher and was also director of the academy after Flori Van Acker. He did not number or date his works. According to the family, there are not many of these.
198. José Storie (1899-1961)
Oil painting/portrait. Storie was known as an excellent portrait painter. He was taught by Florimond Aerts.
246. Marguerite Aers (1918-1995)
Margot loved painting these sweet scenes of ladies on their Sunday best. Lots of color, and they brighten up any room.
152. RE Dupuis
A monumental and large oil painting of the Groene Rei with its white pavilion. Large with an imposing frame. The price is €250.
263. Emile Rommelaere (1873-1961)
Oil painting: The Beguinage in Bruges. An excellent, underrated Bruges artist. Large format.
245. HV Wolvens (1896-1977)
Oil on canvas - "Les moules" (The Mussels). A large work: mussels, herring, and sprat.
173. Leo Mechelaere (1880-1964)
Mechelaere is very well known in Bruges. He hangs in many Bruges living rooms.
120. Guillaume Michiels (1909-1997)
Oil painting: Damme. J. He is the author of "The Bruges School," in which he describes 111 Bruges painters.
271. Fernand Coevoet (1910-1992)
Oil painting / still life. He began painting orally after an illness at age nine. The price is €150.
269. Alfred Van Neste (1874-1969)
This is a lithograph from 1917 and appeared in "le musée du livre." He was best known for his etchings and lithographs of Bruges and Antwerp.
30. Emile Verbrugge (1856-1936)
Oil painting "farm in the dunes around Knokke" - He belonged to the first wave of the Bruges school together with Flori Van Acker and Edmond Van Hove.
239. Jo Verhenneman (1918-1997)
Oil painting / still life. He was originally from Moen and settled in Bruges. The price is €150.
217. André Penninck (1924)
"The Little Novices" - oil painting. He celebrated his 100th birthday last year. This is a large work.
143. Julien Schaeverbeke (1896-1984)
He took lessons from Claude Monet and even had to burn some of his works. Julien was a very good Impressionist painter.
200. Bernard Bosschaert (1933)
Oil on canvas / portrait. He had his gallery on Baron Ruzettelaan, where he still lives. Small format.
193. Walter Jonckheere (1924-1999)
A marine painting by Walter Jonckheere, an important painter of the last generation. We have other works in our collection for sale. The price is €150.
196. Jef Van de Fackere (1879-1946)
He was an important teacher at the academy and a very fine painter. Nice frame and behind glass.
38. August Costenoble (1894-1976)
He lived on Moenstraat and created numerous paintings, primarily views of Bruges. The price is €200.
203. Jules Danlos (1882-1955)
He was a Frenchman who came to live on Gistelsesteenweg and remained there until his death. He painted many still lifes, flowers, dahlias... A good painter.
86. Jozef Middeleer (1865-1939)
His works are rare but of high quality. This work has a monumental frame and is for sale for €375.
207. Charles Verbrugghe (1877-1974)
This isn't what we're used to from Charles. A truly special piece in a sturdy oval frame. It's sure to draw attention to your wall. The price is €600.
